This has been my breakfast for the past couple of days. Kaya and butter smeared gorgeously on wholegrain rye crispbread. This is my lazy version of kaya toast. It’s that simple yet sinful and healthy at the same time. I don’t know whether to laugh or cry due to the crazy rich toppings I put there.
To make kaya butter crispbread, spread a generous amount of butter on the crispbread follow by kaya. I bought this kaya from Yut Kee Restaurant. Despite looking crumbly (regular kaya is paste-ly smooth), the kaya is fragrant and delish.

1. Spread a gorgeous amount of butter on the crispbread follow by kaya. That’s it.
