My love for avocado started when I learned to make avocado smoothie. I usually add avocado with another type of fruit. The best kind of fruit that goes really well with avocado is lai (Chinese pear). They’re like a match made in heaven! (at least in my context hehe)
Come let me show you my very own avocado smoothie recipe. 🙂
They’re simple, quick and super delicious. All you need is 10 minutes to make this healthy smoothie.
Here’s what you need:
Slice ‘lai’ into smaller parts and place into a blender. Then, add 1 or 2 cups of milk. If you like thick smoothie then add only 1 cup.
Add 2 teaspoon of honey. Scoop avocado with a spoon and plop them into the blender. Blend until smooth. If you feel the smoothie is too thick, feel free to add more milk.

I love my avocado smoothie thick. I serve this smoothie with a spoon (since they’re thick ma). This smoothie can last me about 2-3 hours before going hungry.

Oh, one more thing. I sometimes will add plain yogurt and more recently milk kefir. Add 2-3 teaspoons yogurt or 4-5 tablespoons of milk kefir along with milk and honey and blend well.
Super Delicious Avocado Smoothie
Yields 2 cups
1 Chinese Pear
2 cups milk
2 teaspoons honey
1. Slice Chinese pear into smaller pieces. Put into blender.
2. Add 2 cups of milk, 2 teaspoon honey and avocado.
3. Blend until smooth, or the consistency you prefer. Pour into cups.
