I’ve been to Port Village Seafood Restaurant a couple of times throughout my teenage years. Not so much after that. What I can remember is the seafood was good and the place was always full. This year alone, I’ve been to Port Village Seafood Restaurant twice. Once was during Chinese New Year. The place was fully packed. We waited nearly an hour for our food to arrive and unfortunately the taste is so-so only… not bad but not good enough. AND there were no crabs during Chinese New Year!
Reason for our 2nd time (after CNY) is to feast on the crabs dish. Haha
The restaurant is located on the estuary (muara sungai) and is surrounded by mangrove swamps. It can be quite cooling and during high tides you are able to hear the sea water coming in. There’s also fishing boats over the horizon from time to time.
Lala meehoon @ RM18. Nice but the lala is a little overcooked (rubbery).
Stir-fried yau mak with garlic @ RM10. I love this!
Nestum mantis prawn @ RM15. Yup you read that right. Nestum as in cereal as the coating for mantis prawn. YUMMY! CRuNCh…
Steamed fish ‘Teochew style’ @ RM41. The fish meat are steamed to perfection. A little expensive though.
Salted egg crabs @ RM63 for 1 1/2 kilos of crabs. Not enough umph!
Give me ‘kam heong’ and ‘sweet & sour’ style anytime.
Drinks + nuts + towel + service charge @ RM20
Total bill came to RM167.00
If you want a good seafood place but don’t mind the waiting, this is the place to go.

Oh my god! The salted egg crab looks so yummy!! I want to go there one day for sure! I’m a big fan of crabs… 🙂
Cecil Lee, the salted egg actually taste like butter. Hehe. Yes go check this place out.
I rally love the lala mee hoon the time when I went the lala seem to be nice. i am trying to get my friends to come from Putrajaya to come to Klang to have food but they say is too far, I even recommended to them to stay in a hotels in klang. I think I might show them your blog may be they will get convinced.
Putrajaya to Port Klang is not very far when you take the Kesas highway. It’s straightforward. Don’t need to stay for the night.
Hi, do they accept credit card?
Thanks
Hi there, Paul.
Yes, they accept credit card.
Just came from dinner from port village .. Way too expensive for that place .. Crab $125 for 1 plus kg … Total bill was $ 426 … Not recommended
Hi Resh, Woah that’s expensive. Is this the normal crab or some special imported crab? I’ve never heard of such deal before.
I want to know how to port village seafood? ?Is there a phone number? ? ?You can call me how to get it? ?Can give me a phone number? ?
The phone number and map are mentioned in the post above.
Help me to fine a contact number for reservation. Nobody answer at this number 03-31764530.
Hi, this is the only number I know.
Does anybody know the other contact number or email address for this Port Village? I lost something important to me there when I dine there 2 weeks ago. I am not able to go back there as the place is far from my current location. I tried to call the number 0331764530 everyday since that day until now day and night but no one answer. Would appreciate if someone can provide to me their contact-able number? Thanks.
crap place, just went to try it out last last night,
1. ordered grouper fish for two with 2 vege dish came up to rm60, plus drinks, real rip off considering the fish was really tiny enough for a small kid to eat!
2. taste of food 2/6
3. service was horrible! took 15 mins for our drinks, 40 mins for our food, even ordered 3 fried rice to take away but it never came.
3. place is infested with mosquitoes, felt the mosquitoes was having a feast instead of me!
verdict- will never ever go there again!
Hi st, yeah the food is not cheap, Our Teochew fish cost RM41!!! That was in 2010. Food prices have increased drastically. And how good the food taste depends on who cook it as you may or may not know they have quite a few cooks. That’s what I don’t like about it. I’ve tasted a few places with different cooks and every time I get different quality. Sometimes good and sometimes bad.
Service is not good too. You need to wait as there are many customer and yes sometimes you’re forgotten. 😉
Still it’s a place I will go to for special occasion.
Hi, kindly ask your restaurant is pork free ? And got private room can put 4 tables ?
Hi Lih Chen, it’s not my restaurant.
I know it’s pork free. As for the room, kindly contact them to make reservation.
