We decided to try Kuang Fong Restaurant at Jalan Meru one fine day because the eatery is always full with patrons. They must be doing something good, right? Ever since then, we’ve been their fans. Their food quality is consistently delicious and wonderful. And if you’re someone like me that demands wok hei in their food, this is the right place.
Lovely spring rolls with pork meat.
Stir-fried yau mak with garlic. Awesome. Wok hei overloaded. 🙂
Tau fu kang (thick tofu soup with crab meat, tofu and eggs). Better than Foo Chuan Restaurant in my opinion.
Dong po pork. Delish!
Mantau (steamed plain bun) to be dipped into the broth of dong po pork. They are a bit stingy with the broth.
Don’t be scared by the humongous crowds. Their service are fast and the food are affordable.
You can choose to either dine outdoor or indoor. Basically I prefer indoor but it can be too loud at times. You know la Hokkien are like that. 😉
Their signature dishes are loh mee sua with oyster, fried zhe huen ken, dumplings, steamed kampung chicken and chicken ball rice. Of course other dishes are nice too. 🙂
