Ladurée is a must visit luxury cake and delicacies shop in France for food lover. I’m sure you must’ve heard or even eaten the world famous confectionery called macaron. Thanks to Ladurée for inventing this yummy and sweet dessert, the world is now a happier place! Hehe 🙂
After dropping by at Fauchon on a rainy day in Paris, we head to Ladurée at Rue Royale which is not far away from Fauchon.
Beautifully decorated.
Let’s go in!
Our loot from Ladurée.
Eclair ispahan @ €6.20. It consist of a very perfume-y rose flavoured cream, raspberry, lychee bits and rose petals with a yummy outer eclair shell. YUMMY!!!
Cherry blossom and vanilla macarons at €1.70 each. The macaron price is the same as Fauchon’s. Taste wise well I gotta say both Ladurée and Fauchon is very similar.
Here’s a look at the halved macaron. Love the cherry blossom macaron!

so it’s where the macaron is created!
i have not tried any macaron to date. *gulp*
Yup!
My first time, I didn’t like it. But got hooked the second time onwards. 🙂
Ah, another acclaimed macarons!
I only tried macarons once and didn’t like them…cheaply made!
My first macaron was bought from a bakery in Siem Reap. It lacks something (technique I guess) that’s why I didn’t like it.
