I’ve heard quite a bit about the name Fauchon before my trip to Europe and it’s listed in my to visit shop in Paris. It was raining when we dropped by to purchase some of its famous product namely macarons. Besides macarons, pastry and bread, they offer delicious gourmet food, chocolate, teas and so much more. Prices are not cheap though.
Fauchon is situated just opposite La Madeleine (Church of the Madeleine)

What we bought from Fauchon: Kougloff, madeleine, croissant and macarons. Price: kougloff €2.30, madeleine €1.90, croissant €1.50. Price is on the high side. Didn’t find anything special in the kougloff, madeleine and croissant. Lots of customer were purchasing madeleines when we were there.
Chocolate pralines bourbon and hazelnut macarons. Each macaron cost €1.70. The macarons were delicious. YUM factor yes but no UMPH factor. Its standard were pretty much like the one we made at La Cuisine Paris (which I will blog about soon).
Do check ’em out when you’re in Paris. Just to walk along aisle after aisle of delicious food is satisfying enough! LOL

I heard of Fauchon from another blogger friend. She said the macarons are to die for. They do look very tasty though. It looks like it’s international..US has a few outlets which are too far to get to them! 🙂
Malaysia airport (KLIA) has a Fauchon shop too. Yeah I think they’re available in many countries. For me the macarons are ok nia. I’ll introduce another shop which sell the best macarons. Stay tuned.
