When you’re in London, pub food is a must try eating place. After our tiring walk to many attractions around London on day 13 of our Europe trip, we stopped by at Silver Cross pub to have a late lunch around 2.30pm. Silver Cross is located very near to Trafalgar Square. It’s under the chain licensed pub called Taylor Walker.
This place is huge and quite dark. Hence the photos taken here are not the best.
To order food and drinks, you need to go to the bar area.
We’re not much of a heavy drinker, hence we choose cider. Mine is wild berries cider. So yummmmy. I love it! Cost £4.47 per bottle.
Even though it’s late afternoon, the place is still bustling with customer. Food arrived quite slow. This is classic chicken and mushroom pie @ £9.45. Yes again we shared. 🙂 I like the chicken and mushroom but the pie shell is too thick. Can be quite sickening if eat too much. I don’t dare to try fish and chips after my not so pleasant experience at Rock & Sole Plaice.
