Ajisen Ramen @ Pudong, Shanghai

After visiting Xintiandi (新天地) on day 2, we proceed to have our dinner at Ajisen Ramen at Pudong’s Lujiazui. This also mark the start of the few fast food restaurants we visited during our Shanghai trip which I’m not really fond of. I much prefer sampling the local cuisine but whattodo? I’m following a tour group (joke).

Teriyaki Duck Noodles @ Ajisen Ramen, Shanghai
My teriyaki duck noodles @ 33 Yuan. The ramen come with half size of boiled egg, bean sprouts and insane quantity of teriyaki duck (there’s more under the ramen). The duck and broth are really yums, only because the ramen and broth are full loads of MSG. I was so thirsty after the meal. LOL

Thick Pork Bone Soup Noodles @ Ajisen Ramen, Shanghai
My sis ordered thick pork bone soup noodles @ 28 Yuan which she said is delicious. Hers come with half size of boiled egg, pea sprouts, bean sprouts and cloud ears.

Ajisen Ramen @ Pudong, Shanghai
We sat at the long table since the regular one couldn’t fit 5 of us perfectly. The place is very busy with customers come and go. I’m still thinking of the broth taste. I might try our Malaysia’s branch. But I wouldn’t eat it regularly. Too much unhealthy seasonings.

Ajisen Ramen @ Pudong, Shanghai
There are many Ajisen Ramen branches in Shanghai. Take your pick. Right after coming out of the restaurant, we only realized Oriental Pearl Tower is behind it. Wow!

The Teriyaki duck ramen was so yummy…. the soup broth at Ajisen, I don’t care what’s in it, tastes friggin delicious. Only been to the Lingcheng branch though. Had other things on the menu too before, the pork ramen and stuff, and one of the rice dishes, and sides, all good stuff. Costs more than my usual local joints in Dinghai did, so I only went there for treats and days out and stuff :3
