We make camp at Elephant Backpacker during the last 2 days of our Australia trip. That was when we found an interesting place just beside our accommodation. It’s Degraves Street, a lane way that housed cafes, bars and restaurants. Due to its close proximity with Flinders Street Station, this place is popular for people to have a quick stop for coffee and snacks before getting on a train.
On the morning of our second last day in Melbourne, we choose to have our breakfast at Cafe Andiamo in Degraves Street.
Tea @ AUD3.50.
Poached Eggs on Toast @ AUD6.50.
This is my lovely breakfast. A little light you may say but this is all I can take in after recovering from a day of nausea.
BETS (bacon, egg, tomato, spinach) with mayonnaise served open on Turkish bread @ AUD10.00.
My sis’s breakfast and she said VERY YUMMMY! A hearty meal I might add.
I love the atmosphere in Degraves Street. It was lively, bustling and you get to see people from all walks of life passing by this cute lane while enjoying your food! A cool place to soak in the Melbourne way of life.
