After staying 3 days in Melbourne we head out to another adventure. We rented a car and had the adventure of our lifetime along The Great Ocean Road.
Our first Great Ocean Road lunch stop is at Anglesea; a quaint coastal town along the Great Ocean Road. As there were quite many holiday makers at Anglesea Shopping Village, we decided to go there looking for our lunch too.
We choose to have fish since Anglesea is very near to the ocean. Must be fresh. 🙂
Anglesea Fish & Chips is a takeout restaurant.
I love the blue paint and orange fish signature. And how can you not love the ‘door’ ?
The air is at its freshest and coolest. You don’t need air-conditioning here.
2 people in-charged of the ordering, cooking & $$ collection.
Opposite this counter is a long bench where you can sit and wait for your food.
Whiting Fish Burger @ AUD6.90.
Delicious! Love the ‘enormous’ flaky fish.
We have to wait quite a while to get ’em cooked though.
We had our lunch sitting on the stone bench outside the shop with the cool wind blowing at our face. Bliss!
