in Fruits, Juice & Shake

My love for avocado started when I learned to make avocado shake. I usually add avocado with another type of fruit. The best kind of fruit that goes really well with avocado is lai (Chinese pear). They’re like a match made in heaven! (at least in my context hehe)

Avocado Shake

Come let me show you my very own Avocado Shake recipe. :)
They’re simple, quick and delicious. All you need is 10 minutes to make this healthy shake.

Here’s what you need:

Ingredient For Avocado Shake

Avocado, pear, milk and honey.

Sliced Apples

Slice ‘lai’ into smaller parts and place into a blender.

Milk

Add 1 or 2 cups of milk. If you like thick shake then add only 1 cup.

Honey

Add 2 teaspoon of honey.

Blend them for about 30 seconds.

Avocado

Time to cut the avocado.
Here’s a good tip on Buying, Choosing & Cutting Avocado.

Scoop Avocado

Scoop avocado with a spoon and plop them into the blender.

Blend Avocado & Chinese Pear

Blend avocado with the rest until smooth.
If you feel the shake is too thick, feel free to add more milk.

Avocado Shake

Wah la… and you get Amy’s Avocado Shake! :)
This is my ‘love’ drink. Haha
A favorite with my family too.

Avocado Shake

I love my avocado shake thick. I serve this shake with a spoon (since they’re thick ma).
This shake can last me about 2-3 hours before going hungry.

Do try ‘em and let me know. :)

Oh! 1 more thing. I sometimes will add plain yogurt. Add 2-3 teaspoons yogurt along with milk and honey and blend well.

Yields 2 cups.
