I got to know Hing Fat Restaurant the night before (on Hong Kong day 2) when I had my dinner just few doors away at Traditional Chinese Noodle Restaurant. The waitress were calling for us on the 5 foot way but we choose noodles over this. The next morning we head to Hing Fat for our breakfast. I took a peek and saw there were quite many customers. So it’s a good sign.
Here’s what we ordered:
Hing Fat’s milk tea can almost fight with Lan Fong Yuen’s famous silk stocking milk tea. It just lacks a little bit of oomph!
Western breakfast: Pork chop, bread, beans and egg.
Delicious congee.
Ohh yummy yum-yum ha kau. The prawns were big and succulent.
Shrimp rice noodle roll wasn’t our favorite. It tasted bland and peculiar especially the black soy sauce.
Our total bill: HK$129 (RM51.20).
Not cheap hor?
I would love to come back again and try some other dishes (roast duck, fish dishes, etc). They have crab fried rice which sounded so tempting. 🙂

The food is so bad
Only the ice lemon tea is good
That’s too bad then.
